ROAM Tech Support #1 Solar Power System

Since we launched the boat I have had quite a bit of feedback from people looking for more information about ROAM's accommodation or about a particular piece of equipment.  I love talking shop but rather than try and reply to one email or comment we have decided to do some separate video blogs dedicated to a particular subject.

I'm taking this opportunity to say my thanks to the people that helped me, and to help out any other builders out there "pass it on" style.

Welcome! Come and poach as many ideas as you can get from ROAM.  They are all a mix of 1001 other boats ready for you to create your adaption - Mick

There is no need to re-invent the wheel.  There are literally hundreds of people building similar boats of many designs.  Its just a matter of finding what has worked well and tying it all together in a package that works for you.

There is not a single piece of gear on Roam that I couldn't find someone to personally vouch for.  Some ideas are used as is and others we put our own twist on it.

I received so much support and "good info" from other amateur boat builders that I either met in person or got in touch with online via websites like DIY-Yachts.  Once you start hunting them out you will be amazed how many people are taking on similar projects.
